Who we are
This site and its text-message line are operated by Wolf Croskey for Wolf Croskey, candidate for Pittsburg City Council.
What we collect
Only what you give us: your name, email or phone number, the messages you send, and the details of any meeting or office-hours booking. Our servers also keep short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to protect against abuse.
How we use it
To answer you, track your request until it's resolved, schedule meetings, and send the confirmations and reminders you asked for. We never use your information for fundraising, and we never sell it.
What becomes public
This site publishes Wolf's meetings and communications so residents can hold him accountable. When you meet or correspond with him, the date, topic and your first name with the first three letters of your last name (for example, "Maria Gar.") may be published. Your email, phone number, address and the content of your messages are never published. Communications with elected officials can be public records under the California Public Records Act; personal information is redacted as the law allows.
Text messages
You receive texts only if you texted us first or ticked the box on our booking form. Message frequency depends on your requests. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run this service: Twilio (text messages), SendGrid (email), Supabase (database hosting), Cloudflare (spam protection), Google (only Wolf's own calendar free/busy times), and an AI service that translates messages and drafts replies that staff review before anything is sent. They may process your information only to provide these services to us.
Security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit. Only staff with two-factor sign-in can see private records, and every change is written to a tamper-evident public ledger (which records fingerprints, never your information). Records are kept as long as public-records law requires.
